| In winter the resort
caters for the long ski season, due to the high altitude (3250 m) of the
ski area. Good snow conditions are available from December to the end of
April. All levels of skier and snowboarder are catered for in the resort
from beginners to experts. |

Champagny ski area - this area is suitable for beginners with easy
nursery slopes at the top of the 10 man cable car. 30 km of prepared cross
country skiing is available in nearby Champagne le Haut. |

instructors and guides are available at the ESF ski school. The chalet is ideally situated just 4 minutes by car from the cable car, lift pass
office and ESF ski school. |

La Plagne area - this area is suitable for intermediates and experts.
There are 215 km of prepared pistes as well as more challenging off piste
skiing. The more adventurous can explore the Les Arcs ski area using the
new Vanoise express link giving access to a total of 420 km of linked
pistes of the Paradiski area. |

| Many of the premier
European ski resorts are within easy driving distance. The 3 valleys (
Meribel, Courchevel and Val Thorens), Tignes, Val D'Isere, Valmorel, La
Rosiere / La thuile and Pralognan can all be easily reached by car. |
